WHAT IS Tidy up Tredyffrin?
Tidy Up Tredyffrin is part of an ambitious statewide effort to remove litter and trash from Pennsylvania's roadways, parks, forests, riverbanks, neighborhoods, and open spaces.

How it works:
Whether you're an individual or part of a group, and even if you only have 1 hour to spare, you can make a difference. As you know, there is no one “assigned” to litter control in Tredyffrin; it’s up to volunteers to keep our community clean. Every little bit helps!

How it works:
- Pick your own clean up location or ask for an assignment
- Supplies (work gloves, trash bags and safety vests) delivered to your door the week prior to Tidy Up Days.
- A terrific public service project for kids!

People litter because:
They feel no sense of ownership, even though areas such as parks and beaches are public property.
They believe someone else—a park maintenance or highway worker—will pick up after them.
Litter already has accumulated*
